Appendix scar tissue pain

I had my appendix out 2 years ago and now for the past 5 days I am feeling pain in my lower right side where my appendix was. I did used to get pains in that area until about 6months after my op every time I had my period, but hadn't felt the pain in over a year.

I'm on day 20 of my cycle. Ovulated on day 12...I think!

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this? Just wondering what could be causing the pain?
