Are any of you late implanters? Did you have IB?

I realise this is first trimester forum, but obviously my question is aimed at pregnant ladies and I never had IB with my son so...

we're not TTC. It would be a very unexpected (happy) accident.


I'm 9 days late now, I haven't had a cycle longer than 37 days in 2 years. Today is cycle day 43.
It's very weird for me as well because on my son the test came a week before I was due my period and I was temping so I even knew exactly when I implanted.


Anyway, all the symptoms are there but 2 negative tests.
Friday night I checked my cervix and was horrified to see the tiniest spot of blood on my finger and browny/yellow cm. So I expected imminent AF, so I put a pad down. No blood came down onto the pad all evening, so I expected it to come over night.

Saturday morning nothing. Waited all day and nothing and today still nothing. I've had no CM in my underwear for over a week now, which for me is odd and was the biggest symptom when pregnant with my son, I completely dried up with him.

Do you think what I had was implantation bleeding? I haven't tested since, I was gonna give AF the chance to arrive today and then test tomorrow (as I've heard that its best to test a few days after you see IB)

I had implantation bleeding around the time of my missed period. I thought I was due on, so I only tested the following day and I got a clear result on a test. The only way to find out is to do another test. If it was implantation bleeding and you've had symptoms, you really should be seeing something on a test now. I know some ladies get very late positive tests, but it's not common. Good luck

Thank you! I was a week early last month so really if it was IB i suppose it would be roughly around the time that I would have been expecting my period. But my app worked me out to be due 9 days ago because I was so early last month.

I'm gonna test tomorrow morning. I heard that after IB you should leave it a day or 2 for HG levels and then test so looks like tomorrow I'll get my answer, if not I'll be off to the doctors!

Ah, yeah, the apps can get really confused when you have irregular cycles! I had a super short cycle (for me) on my last one, so I wasn't really sure where I was at on the one I fell pregnant, but I am certain (especially now knowing more accurate dates for how far along I am) that my IB came around my missed period and not earlier. When did you last test? If it was Fri, you might pick something up today on a test (I use cheapie ones... they're just as good).

I had implantation bleeding on the day of my missed period. Didn't test positive until 4 days later.

I last tested on Friday afternoon I think so I think that maybe tomorrow or Tuesday something should show right?

you could of ovulated a lot later in your cycle than normal, i normally ovulate on day 26 but this time it must of been around day 14 so our bodies can change things up. The only thing i would say is that if there are enough hormones in your body for symptoms then tests should be picking it up as they are so sensitive now. I hope you get the answer you want, keep us posted x

I have this this morning, do you think its a faint bfp? I'm not gonna phone a doctor until I have a definite line so I'll test again tomorrow probably.

oh i can see the line on both im just wondering about colour as i often get a greyish line on them when bfn. Whats the colour like in rl?

It's practically invisible in real life, so I'm gonna test again tomorrow I think. We weren't TTC but I'm convinced we've been caught, I just need the test before I can call a doctor lol.
