Are paracetamols ok??

Just wanted to check if it was ok to take paracetamol? I have a really bad cold and have not been sleeping, feel rubbish. Have tried my best to fight it on my own but im really struggling
Any advice would be great, thanks

Hi,

Both my doc and midwife have both said paracetamol has a long history of being safe during pregnancy and doesn't pass through to the baby.

I am suffering with a cold too! Hope your feeling better soon!

They are fine, but check the dosage, make sure they are bog standard and not strong ones. xxx

Occasional use of paracetamol at the recommended dose is absolutely fine. Regular use has not been shown to be harmful either, but if you are having to take them often for the same problem it is better to see a doctor and get to the bottom of it.

ive been taking paracetomol for headaches, like the others have said they are safe at the normal dose but do not take the extra strong ones. hope you feel better soon x
