For a long time I thought Iguana was pronounced "Ig-you-ah-na" too but think it's really "Ig-wah-na".

At least they are unusual words though. I hate it when someone says ordinary words wrong, like "Boccles" instead of bottles or "lickle" instead of little.

There is a suburb in my city called "Remuera" which I can never say. Luckily I don't live or work in the suburb so I'm not having to say it an awful lot, but I feel like a right dork when I do have to say it and it comes out all hickeldy pickledy.

I can't say apocalypse unless I really think about it. It come out like acopalypse. Luckily I don't have to say it all that often .

hyprocite (i had to google the correct spelling) i cant pronounce it at all

osteoporosis - my mum has it and would often say it but i cant remember how to say it properly. i always thought it a few extra "s" ie osteosporsosis, no wonder i couldnt pronounce it. yep i googled it just now
