I sometimes contemplate which I would want more. Of course as long as they're healthy then I don't mind but I do worry sometimes. I remember how terrible I was growing up so a girl frightens me a bit lol.

Whilst pregnant we go though so many worries 'it is normal' 'does it have a hare lip'! ' what if its blind!!!' blimey i thought it all... the sex of the baby was soooo far at the bottom you really dont care long as its healthy

Monitoring pH level...lower is better for a girl. You can make diet changes and take supplements to help that. Mine right now is a 5 without diet changes and ideal for a girl is 4-4.5. So I can do lime douches (I know it sounds gross haha) we tried it last month and we won't be doing it again this month I think it lowered too much and ruined my chance last month. Boy ideal is like 7-9 I believe so I'm still well below that so hoping it's still ok without. Also timing...there are 2 methods...shettles which is doing it 2-3 days before ovulation or O+12 which is doing it 12hrs after ovulation. It can be hard to pinpoint and I messed up last month and I was totally stressing so instead we are doing frequent baby dance this time, still deciding if I'm going to stop when I get my first positive opk...last month I o'd the 3rd day after my first positive or just do it daily through O. Apparently waiting 2-6 days between having sex increases odds for boys but once a day or waiting 7 days is better for girls. DH messed up our 7 day thing so we are doing daily lol. I'm really relying on my pH level this month, last month I was soooo stressed out trying to get it all right and it made it feel unnatural and not like we were doing it out of love but for the sole purpose of having a baby and we didn't like that

This sounds dangerous. You really shouldn't be putting any food products up there.

This sounds dangerous. You really shouldn't be putting any food products up there.

None of it is dangerous at all, 100% safe. Research to back it up too. Does no damage to you (woman doing it) and no damage to the dna of the sperm or potential baby. They even sell lime douche in the store but you can make it at home and it's just as safe, and it's not a full douche which can increase chance of tubal pregnancy, it's just a little bit. I did a lot of research about it before trying any of it.

I would like a boy only because the pregnancies seem easier and for the first pregnancy, I'd like it to be as easy as possible! However, I don't actually care beyond pregnancy - I'd love either! I just want to get pregnant with a healthy baby and carry it full term.

Obviously like everyone else I'll be over the moon & pure smitten regardless BUT I would LOVE a girl, just because there are no girls in mine or hubby's families...everyone has little boys so it'd be lovely for both sets of grandparents to have their first Grand-daughter xx
