are you supposed to ck bbt when on AF?

hey all

i am starting to use bbt with opks and cking cm this month to ttc.

i am on cycle day 5 still light/spotting from AF

my temps are

1-97.86
2-96.93
3-97.6
4-97.45
5-97.73


this isnt this wacky looking?

i do it as soon as i wake up in the morning.

is it bc i should start AFTER af is over?

or are your temps weird during af?

Are you taking them at the same time each morning too (approximately)? My temps stay high for a few days during AF and then drop back down to my pre O temps (my chart is in my sig) So it could be that it will drop in the next few days, OR... Maybe your temp drops the first day of AF (some peoples do) and this is your pre O temps. They seem a little erratic, but I have seen worse.

I would just make sure you are taking them at the same time each day and they should even out some. The biggest thing is seeing a clear temp spike after ovulation.

They don't seem too bad to me but mine are pretty all over the place too. Mine have been:

1. 97.8
2. 97.7
3. 98

But i didnt get much sleep last night and I've heard that can mess with your temps. I would just keep at it and youll notice when you o cuz your temp will jump up and stay up. Keep us updated!
