anyone have any advice on how to keep raging hormones under control? i'm going out my mind here and i dont know what to do.

i'm at work and i work on a helpdesk where i have to sit right near my supervisor. i cannot stand her at all. she's the most irritating, b!tchy, person i've ever known. i hate my job as it is and it's boring as hell. i've had some problems in regards to getting a maternity uniform sorted out and she made a nasty comment about it which is nothing new she makes nasty comments at me all the time.

but i'm finding everything about her sooooooooooooooooooooo annoying. her voice, he way she talks, her face, just EVERYTHING!!!! she doesnt shut up and she's about 60/70 years old and think she knows everything but forgets things all the time and my god i just hate her. help please, before i punch her and get the sack!!!!

I wish I could say something to help you, but I need to know this too!!!! I have two work colleagues which I could quite happily murder at the moment...

Bloomin pregnancy hormones LOL :haha:

haha thank you. i suppose it's nice in a way to know i'm not alone. it's driving me mad though i'm running out of self restraint. i already act like a stroppy teenager towards her, like one word answers and i get stroppy if she even talks to me but i cant help it. lol. i'll be suprised if i make it to my maternity leave without getting the sack x

Oh no, it sounds like a nightmare :-( I haven't got any raging hormone calming advice but try your best not to punch her, instead just put your foot in front of hers when she's walking ;) x

OMG I am the same  I hadn't realised it til now, but that's it, I'm behaving like a stroppy teenager. They both sit in the same office, and they rung down yesterday to complain they "were getting thirsty"... ie. get the kettle on Lou! I replied "well you know where the kettle is".

Hahahahaha don't mess with a pregnant woman!!!!

Think i'll be lucky to make it to my maternity leave too... funny thing is, DH says i'm just as angry as I am usually. I beg to differ - surely I can't always be like this??

ooh that'd annoy me. i hate it when people say things like that and just expect you to do it. grrrrr. haha glad u gave a good reply though, that sounds like something i'd say atm.

haha oh dear, i'm sure you're not an angry person usually. i'm sure i'm not either (i hope). i've always known i dont like this woman but now it's an unbarable feeling of hatred and anger towards her and everything she does.

ok i'm gonna stop now haha x

To be honest, I think it's good that we vent on here. It helps get some of the frustration out :haha:

It's strange, where things wouldn't normally bother me, now they make my blood boil!

Copied and pasted from my post in the other thread about working while pregnant, it suits this topic much better

I work in the motor industry which as you all may know is a male dominated world, some men are treating me like i have contracted a deadly illness and need to be looked after (which is great!) others are the 'get on with it' type. I have some women in the office i work with that are the same (well i say women, but sometimes it is debatable) Most are childless and don't understand why people are saying 'congratulations' to me as and i quote 'all you have done is lay on your back and got pregnant' charming eh?

I am finding it hard to cope with my fury whitest in the office though and my inability to remain calm at all times (i almost lost my temper that we have ran out of paper in the photo copier earlier - then almost immediately i wanted to cry about it) I am also speaking my mind which is going to get me into trouble before long. I was meant to think to myself 'If you look at me like that again young lady i will stick these scissors i am holding right up your ***' but actually said it out loud, not loud enough for me to be shipped off the H.R however but loud enough for my male boss to hear me and have a snigger!

I have counted to ten at least fifty times todays, I don't know where all this rage is coming from! So if i am not off ill soon i think i will be off permanently with my P45 in hand....!

When work colleagues get me down, I just focus on the 77 days or so I have left till I go on maternity (not that I'm counting!) Soon we will be able to leave it all behind for a while and concentrate on being mummies! Hopefully the old witch you work with will retire by the time you get back

Oh dear! There are so many of us hormonal women out there

I thankfully work with all women, but now the intial excitement has worn off I think they've forgotten I am pregnant! I have loads of clients I go to reguarly (i'm an accountant) and most of the men have just been like, um well done, was it planned? LOL! No, of course not, I had unprotected sex with my husband and just hoped I wouldn't get pregnant. Fools! One even said, how did that happen? I just said, do you really need a diagram?

aww emsie, bless ya hunni. sounds like ur finding it tough too.

Louppey, ur right, it's great we can vent out on here, it does help the frustration by letting it out a bit. ur probably gonna get me venting about it every day now haha.

yeah i've been trying to concentrate on how little time i have left here but it's sooo hard. oooh and luckily i wont be coming back after, so when i got on mat leave thats it for me haha x

Ohh I am jealous of you getting to not go back to work! When you starting maternity leave?

I'm starting 1st Feb I think, although if i'm OK i'd like to work as far along as I can. I'm only taking 4 months off, so don't want to waste them by taking them before baby is here

Just think, once you start maternity leave you will never have to see that old bat's face again!!! Hahaha!

I know what you mean totally - I am so sick of the stupid questions now! :hissy:

Ha ha ha! Me too. Stupid questions are far better than people touching your stomach though...

Touch me again and you will take back a bloody stump :growlmad:

Hee hee hee! Brilliant :D A few people have tried to touch me, I hate it! Personal space people!!!! I don't mind if they're friends/family, and they ASK FIRST, but clients keep doing it! Eeewww! You wouldn't touch me normally, why do it now? I have to be polite because they're clients but that niceness is starting to fade

I need a badge made up - If you touch my bump, I will hurt you.

i'd so wear one!!!! i hate people trying to touch me. i dont mind hubbi doing it but anyone else i wanna punch.

if this bat at work tries i will knock her out. i know i wont be able to stop myself. x
