Arghh Braxton Hicks & Heartburn..!!

I dont think anyone understands how tired I am feeling, I havent been sleeping very well lately as my DD has been waking up in the night for no reason and OH doesnt help with her in middle of night as he is on shifts, she hasnt even been having her afternoon naps then last night come

I went to bed at the same time as my DD so if she woke up I wouldnt have to keep walking up and down the stairs like normal so I was watching my programmes in bed. At around 9oclock I started getting braxton hicks, and then at around 10oclock I started getting heartburn, both of these lasted untill 3am!! It was keeping me awake so I was absolutly knackered when OH came in at 2am, then finally when I got to sleep at 3am, my DD decided it would b ok to wake up at 5am, then 7am and then at 9am wide awake.

OH had to leave for work so couldnt even give me a lay in, I feel soo tired, then my cat decided to shit on my livingroom floor!! All in all today has been a shit day, I have loads of washing to catch up on and Im really feeling in a shitty mood!! I keep getting hot flushes and I feel really sicky

On the up side - I have my 4d scan tomorrow!! Sorry about the rant xxxx

I know what you mean with the tiredness. My DD is 2, last night she slept through ok BUT it was me who woke at 3am and didnt' get back to sleep until gone 5am. Then my DD woke me up at 6am (she went back to sleep after a while) and I was awake until the alarm went off at 7:30am.

Pregnancy was definately easier the first time round, it is alot harder once you already have a LO.

I just wanted to let you know you are not alone - even with the heartburn (I should have shares in Gaviscon) - hopefully you'll have a better night tonight. Or do you live near any family who could give you a break?

it sounds like you are telling my story girl!! my DD rarely sleeps thru the night and she's 3, this all just started since I've been pregnant. My DH doesnt help much with her either, even tho he is up all night anyway.. ooh dont get me started on him.... I too have heartburn and Bh.
