Just got letter saying am not entitled to SMP that I should try for MA from DWP and am worried we won't get anything

I am only one working but with 5 weeks to go and my back so bad I can't sit down (takes 5mins just to get in chair) am worried I won't make it to maternity leave to claim MA if I can get it

I don't know what to do

And my OH just says I need to stick it out and just rest and sleep when get home (am not bloody tired am hurting)

Why ya not entitled to smp?!? Any1 who has been in employment for 12 month is entitled to smp.

Only started in April found out pregnant may and don't earn enough as am only part time I believe

this is what iv been worried about!! i dont know whether im entitled to it yet, what about maternity allowance (i think it called that) im sure thats what you should get if not entitled to smp
