ARM induction

Hiya,

Has anyone had an arm induction? I was induced with my lo at 40+4 and I had one gel, when I got to 2 cm's they broke my waters.

This time I am being induced at 38+6, due to this being my 9 th pregnancy (7losses) and I need hormonal support, high risk pregnancy. I had an internal yesterday and consultant said that my cervix is very favourable and he could feel the head. He said I could go into labour naturally because the head is so low. Just looking for ladies stories that have had ARM inductions. Dr said he thinks breaking my water is all I will need this time.

So any stories would be good please. Thanks in advance.

I was induced with no2 this way, really quick labour, they broke my waters at 11am, i felt quite crampy and sore down below for first hour, and then strong contractions kicked in about 1, i had my little girl at 2.55, so was very fast...it did make the contractions quite intense as the "cushionin" from babies head is gone but it wasn't unbearable xx

Thanks, am hoping it will be quicker than my first, in total from the first gel to delivery 20 hours,I was exhausted. X

Once theyve done it, stay mobile, i went a walk then when i wanted to stay in my room i bounced on ball, paced the room etc, i only got on bed the last half hour xx
