Arrrghh so confused!

Hiya

Okay so I am booked for a section at 39wks on Monday 17th October. Just had a call from the hospital saying they have too many c-sections booked in that day. They have asked if they can push my date back to Wednesday 19th October. I am having a c-section as I have tokophobia (fear of childbirth) and I am anxious about going into labour before my c-section date anyway so the fact they want to put it back I know it is only 2 days but it is making me feel so nervous! She said they can leave it at that day but they dont want to get me in make me starve and then say they cant do it that day!

I have said I will have a chat with my MW and then call them back as I am just so unsure what to do!!! I have had this date since I was about 25 weeks pregnant so bit gutting to have it possibly changed.

How annoying to be given a date and then have it changed! But then tbh you dont want to go in on the Monday and be left sitting around! Would it be worth asking if they have any availability the week beforehand? If not, unfortunately you'll just have to go with it but Im sure everything will work out fine x
