Not my fave paper, but one of the bundle we buy and plough through
So, Style magazine had an article from a mother talking about her extended breast feeding experience.
I wasn't impressed. Basically, she said once she stopped she could wear her nice bra, wear her nice clothes, lose weight...and that her child developed more socially and mentally (rapidly, apparently) in the weeks after she stopped!
She opens the piece with a 'tide is turning against BFing...'
I can see some of the points she makes i.e. she did go for 2.5 years, but the whole piece had such, SUCH a negative feel about it.
I feel like writing in and saying that if my DD wants to carry on morning/evening feeds for a good while longer, I can live with the nursing bra. Each to their own, but such a negative piece
And developed more socially and mentally?!?! For giving up BFing?!
