Has anyone tried at home insemination? What day did u do it on if u did it??

For best chances of success you should test with OPK and know your cycle really well. Then inseminate on either the day before you get a positive or the day of the positive. Some also advocate inseminating again 2 days later. Sperm can survive 7 days but the egg only 36hrs, and your luteinising hormone rise (which the OPK measures) can be anything from a few hours up to 48hrs prior to ovulation.

There is no evidence that preseed, standing on your head, raising your hips, diaphragms or cups make any difference at all to outcomes - you have just the same chance of success as someone who does none of those things. But knowing your cycle and timing according to OPK definitely does increase the chance of pregnancy occurring.
