At how many week had you gained 1.5 stone ?

With both of my pregnancies I have put most of my weight between 18-25 weeks after that it was more constant. I have put 9 lbs just last month.....

I was 9 stone 7lbs when I got pregnant last time and I put on 4 stone, 2 of which was by 24 weeks. LO was born at the beginning of May 2011 and by August I'd lost 3.5 stone of it by gentle dieting (no real exercise other than horse riding). I then got pregnant again in August so abandoned the diet at that stage!

This time my pregnancy is totally and utterly different and I've put on 4lbs so far (nearly 20 weeks). My starting weight was half a stone heavier though I suppose. So at 20 weeks I'm now 11lbs heavier than my true pre-pregnancy weight (but seeing as I've been pregnant for the best part of 18 months I don't really remember this!!)

Don't worry about the weight gain - your body is doing what it needs and I was so surprised at how quickly it comes off afterwards with relatively little effort. If I hadn't got pregant again within 3 months I expect I'd have been back at my normal weight within 6 months which I never thought would have been possible! xxx

Thanks for your reply.I think my biggest problem is that after I had my LO I lost all the weight and 11 pounds more and was lighter than I had been in years and was really happy about it.SO I'm finding it harder this time with the weight gain as I worked so hard to lose it before

Ive put on about 6lbs, thats it. ive been lucky so far, but im still exercising, so that helps.x
