So ok my morning sickness has come back with a vengeance. I can't keep anything down, my anti sickness pills aren't working and I'm feeling like a pile of poo!
Just wondering to all the ladies who have been really sick, at what point did you decide enough was enough and admitted yourself to hospital. I am projectile vomiting everything I eat, can't keep fluid down ...

If you can't keep fluid down then it's best to go into hospital. I've been admitted twice during my pregnancy and the second time i didn't feel so bad, though i still had ketones in my urine. It's best to go as a precaution and they can check you over and make sure everything is okie.

If you can sip at watr and keep it down, i'd ring up the maternity ward and tell them whats going on. They'll probably ask you to come in. Hope your feeling better soon and they can give you something to help you out xx

If you can't keep fluid down, you can become dehydrated extremely quickly. I always say better safe than sorry. Go get yourself checked out.
Good luck with everything! x

I've never experienced morning sickness, but I really hope things get better for you and they can get you sorted in hospital.

We'll be waiting for you to come home

Keep smiling xxxxxxx

i went once a week every week. my urine was brown. and i was only peeing once or twice a day. although i've heard some people are told that if they have to, go every day if they feel it's necessary.

thanks all. Seeing my midwife in an hour. xx

Good luck and as the rest have said, if you can't sip water and keep it down then I would go. Your midwife will be able to advise and help you out.

Right, just got back from the midwife. She did a urine test and didn't find any key tones which is good, so no hospital for me atleast today. She said I have hyperemesis gravidarum though I already knew that and if I'm still bad by next week I'll have to take Ondansetron (sp?) alongside metaclopramide....
So all in all I feel slightly more frustrated and confused!

Ondansetron is amazing sweetie, also known as Zofran. It really works. Metoclopromide did nothing for me but cyclizine helped a good bit. Ondansetron is certainly the best bet xxxx

I had anti sickness which didnt help me either. Try sipping little but often see if you can keep fluids down then

hope it eases soon x
