Avent Teats?

A quick question for those who use Avent bottles. DS currently uses number 2teats however I want to move him up to the next ones as he sometimes falls asleep feeding.

I've tried a number 3 and he was fine. Is there much difference in hole size between 3 & 4?

Wondering whether I should skip the number 3's and go staright to using 4's???

i went from number 2 teats to using variflow. partly cos we were using comfort milk but now ds is on normal stage 1 milk again and dtill using the variflow teats. he has always got on well with these. not sure what the difference is between 3 and 4 though, perhaps get a pack of each and see which he preferes?

My daughter is on size 2 teats at the moment, but like your LO, she kept falling asleep during her feed. Even though size 3 teats should be for 3m+, we moved her up for a few days, but she developed AWFUL wind (screaming and squirming). We moved her back to the size 2 teats and now she's happy as Larry again Gonna wait a while before moving her up again.

Purchased the size 3's in the end as discovered the size 4's are actually for 6 months + Got them in the mothercare sale too which was a bonus! Used them for a day but DS really didnt take to them. He is such a guzzler he was drowning himself! Back on 2's again at least for the time being. He seems to be ok on a 3 at the bed time feed so will stick with that one
