I have a 2 week old bub who developed acne on her cheeks for the past few days. Im feeding her with both breast and formula due to my low supply, I was wondering if the formula could be causing this or is there anything I can use to help them dry up?

It's from the hormones leaving their body (they had some left from before being born). It'll clear up in time, could be months though. We EBF and he had it too. Something people don't tell FTP, newborns have terrible skin.

My baby didn't get acne but I know a lot of people who's baby's have had it and I keep hearing people say " if she gets acne put a little breast milk on it" I never tried it but people swear by it ... Its free and could help :)

Our baby had small bumps on her forehead for a while, they do just go away on their own eventually, then they come back on their cheeks, then go away ...etc... :haha:

My lg turned into a right walking zit at about 2 weeks too. We were so worried it wasn't going to go, but honestly, two weeks or so later and it's totally cleared up and she hasn't had a problem at all since.

I have similar issues with bf to you and I also questioned the formula and took it as a great opportunity to bash myself for not being able to fully bf, but honestly, I don't think that was the problem (she's totally fine now!) - I think it's our hormones leaving their bodies as noodlesnack said :)

Both my girls have broke out in bad acne around 2 weeks and my 2nd still has it at 5 weeks. She's exclusively breastfed, formula has nothing to do with it. My first had some formula here and there.

Put breastmilk on them. It got rid of both my boys baby acne. Just reapply if new ones come out. DS1 only needed one application and his acne was worse to start with, DS2 needed it twice.

Yep my kids had it for a few weeks as newborns, my nephew had it until he was well over 6 months. Just leave them alone and they will go away on their own :)

MyLO has baby acne on forehead and just below his eyes. Is it safe to put breastmilk so close to the eyes?

Under his nose is clear I think due to always getting BM all over.

people put it in the eyes to try and shift conjunctivitis so I think it's fine. x

Its nothing to worry about. My daughter had it pretty bad for about a month, docs put her on a steroid cream. It went away pretty quickly.
