Baby Acne

Dylan has just started showing a few spots on his face. Some even have those little pimple whiteheads. I was devestated!! He had such perfect skin before. I've read this is fairly common around this age and usually passes in a few weeks. Can anyone else relate? I'm looking for reassurance that this WILL pass and not be an ongoing thing for months to come???

Yep, Ollie has them. He looks and his skin feels awful. Apparently, they will come and go until about 3 months. Breastmilk or Sorbolene (not sure of the UK equivalent) can help. Go to the doctors if they start looking very angry.

Hey! our babies were born on the same day...and my baby girl just started showing the same little spots...all over! Its apparently common but really upsetting!

My LO got it when it really hot out and when i was holding her she'd get all sweaty from my arm and that really made her "break out" so i just started covering up my arm, and i give her a bath pretty much all day. And that really seemed to help. I mean don't get me wrong she still gets a random one here and there. But not bad at all.

Amelie had horrible baby acne about the same age as Dylan is now. It wa totally gone by 6-7 weeks.

My LO had this really bad it was horrible! He's nearly 11weeks now and they've totally cleared up apart from one on his chin!

It will pass, as horrible as it is to see theres really nothing you can do

Rosie had it very badly but it only lasted about 3 or 4 weeks and now her skin is as perfect as ever : )
