Well for weeks now i have been in pain and sooooo uncomfortable and now i know why.
Little madam is back to back :dohh:
I have read loads and found that birthing balls and positioning yourself on all 4's can help them to turn. Does anyone else have any suggetions on getting her to face the other way????

I was hoping for a water birth but have read that back to back births are very long and painful  i hope she turns in time.

I remember at my parentcraft classes the midwife discussing this topic, babies can actually turn themselves round even when your in labour - hopefully your LO does this for you x

i never managed to turn my first, and this one is also back to back. the consultant told me that it can sometimes be the shape of your pelvis that causes them to lie back to back. i was talking to a friend the other day who said she spent a good hour a day with her bum in the air and managed to turn her LO. good luck!

My baby was back to back and has turned sometime in the past two weeks between my last two MW appointments. Not sure what has turned him but i've done a lot of bouncing on my ball and been out for walks and stopped slouching on the sofa so much!

Oh i just ask the same question as I'm in the same situation :-( x

William was back to back but didn't know til I was in labour! In hosp 5cms at 8pm he was born at 1:35am with gas and air only. Hoping this one isn't back to back tho!

thanks ladies.
I saw the MW at the drop in clinic today and asked for some advice as im so uncomfortable.
She has suggested swimming, birthing ball. Hands and kness and no slouching.

SO i will give all these a go and see if there is any change at my next appointment in 2 weeks.

Thanks again for all your advice. Ill keep this posted to see if they work for me.

xx
