Ok, here is a revised, smaller list that I have actually picked together with my OH. Chances are we will be adding more as time flies but I'm excited to have found some names we BOTH really enjoy!! We are looking for names that reflect our multicultural backgrounds as I am Polish and he is Russian/Israeli, not something that is overly "Canadian". Also something that sounds strong, but can be shortened into a cute nickname for baby while also can have a good nickname when he is "one of the boys", as that seems to be how men refer to each other nowadays.

Here it is! Please tell me which one is your fave! I've included meanings as well. Middle name is Maximus (that name goes way back for us and means something very special for us :baby:). Our fave is Leo, but I'm not really feeling Leonardo.

Leonardo, Leo (lion)
Sevastian (from sebastia ??)
Viktor, Viko (to conquer)
Vitaliy (life)

Thanks ladies! :hugs:

My favourite is Leonardo shortened to Leo then Sevastian (but I much prefer Sebastian).

Leo is mines and my OH's baby name too :) x

Leo is the only name I feel is right when I picture a baby in a few months, it just comes so naturally. jl. is your baby just Leo or are you extending it somehow on the birth certificate?

I know what you mean, it's the only one me and my OH actually agree on.

I'm not sure, I don't really like the extended version.. if t was to be anything would maybe make it Leonardis as opposed to Leonardo

I love Leo! Just Leo is a perfectly legitimate name, so I would suggest going with that!
