Hi, I had a growth scan today as I was measuring 10wks ahead of my 32wks, everything ok and normal, baby weighing about 4lb and waters ok so im not concerned and neither are they. They did he is breech and its marked on my notes as baby being breech also. They don't seem concerned and I am not really as I still have 8wks to go and I know they can turn easily, plus as this is my 2nd pregnancy I know they sometimes don't go head down till the last min, but there is just something in the back of my mind telling me I should be worried and the fear of giving birth to a beech baby. Am I just being stupid? and does 4lb sound a good weight for 32wks

4 pounds at 32 weeks sounds normal to me. I wouldn't worry too much about a breech baby - im sure your LO will turn head down soon! Like you said, you still have time.

My first baby was breech at 35 weeks - ughhh. It took 2 weeks to turn him, and in the meantime, it was extremely uncomfortable, especially when he got stuck sideways at 36 weeks and couldn't get his head down because there wasn't enough room. I WAS successful, and he came out vaginally, but I wouldn't wait till baby is bigger to try some of these exercises. :) My current pregnancy was transverse at 32 weeks, and I used the forward-leaning inversion along with an ice pack at the top of my bump. Those methods are also on this site.

The weight sounds lovely. They estimate that baby grows half a pound every week, so you're looking at a nicely average 8 lbs baby =)

As for being breech, it makes complete sense that you're worrying about it and playing out every scenario in your head. Don't let it drive you mad though, there really is plenty of time for baby to turn still. My DD2 was breech until around 35 weeks when she turned heads down.

My scan was yesterday i am 32+6 and baby is breech and 3 pounds 7 ounces so i still have to have my NSTs twice a week because of him being small so you sound right on track i am also a little worried as i have no experience with a baby being breech but i know he can still turn i think its just something that kind of keeps you worried until you know different.

DS flipped to breech and back over the course of a week fairly late on in the game (37ish weeks), that was fairly painful.

this little critter seems to be playing the same game, was breech on friday after being head down for aaaaaaages. been feeling so beat up and bruised recently he MUST be turning back now.

try not to worry until it definitely becomes something to worry about, else it's needless stress and anxiety for you.

Mine was 4lbs something too. And breech!
Now head down without much persuasion xxx

At 32 weeks my baby was breech on Monday she was head down. Try not to worry!

We were breech at 32 weeks, had my 34 week check yesterday (a little early) and she is now head down :)

I wouldnt worry just yet (I know easier said then done!) This LO was head down then at my 34 week growth scan she'd turned breech, they asked me back and by 36 weeks she'd gone back to being head down.

As for the weight it sounds good to me for that many weeks xx

Doctor told me they don't worry about the position of baby until 36 weeks, because there is plenty of room for them to move around till that point. I wouldn't worry! And us weight measurements can be off..my son was supposed to be 9 pounds going off his us, he was only 7 :)
