Just wondering when the real baby bump starts? I'm 10 weeks on thursday and in the morning I'm not as bloated/big - there is a lil bump not very big at all. But then I eat and I bloat out, not as big as I was at 6 and 7 weeks but still noticeable. When does this go away and the real bump stay? Thanks

I am also 10 weeks on Thursday and mine is kind of staying out now and getting harder so I do actually look semi pregnant. I think it varies for each person but they do say if it's your first baby it takes a bit longer to show.

xx

mine is also feeling more firm. i think mine will take longer to show because i have a really tilted uterus and at 8.5 weeks it was still pretty far back as indicated on my ultrasound. i wonder when i will have a real baby bump! lol maybe this is the start of a small one, as its more firm?

I actually just posted on another thread about this as well... I too have no bump at all. You wouldn't even know. I'm on the thinner end so I thought it would maybe even pop a little earlier - but not a bit. My clothes feel fine actually. Here's to hoping it happens soon for us! :)

I think once you start feeling a firm bump, I would think that is a baby bump. I am 12+2 and I have a little bump that is very firm. I think I am finally starting to look pregnant and not bloated! :)

Oh ok. Mine is firm, it IS noticeable to me and to OH and none of my clothes are comfortable, they are really snug and I can't wear them. All I can wear is loose stuff. Thanks!

I'm 12 wks and want a proper little bump but just look chubby!! Haha!! I'm sure it will come to us all very soon!! xoxo

My clothes are tight too. All I can wear are sweat pants or loose fitting clothes. I just ordered some maternity pants and jeans, hopefully this will get here soon. :)

Oh yes, I do that sometimes too! lol They are just so comfy:)

My friend told me that if tighter clothes feel super uncomfy then thats just bloat but if it feels fine to wear something snug against it then its the real thing. That could easily of just been her though. I find if I put on my usual high waisted tight fitting skirts that I usually wear to work i puke the minute I zip them up. I'm all about the loose as well. I have quite the bloat bump, even when I first wake up now. I'm petite but admittedly haven't had tight core muscles since I quit horseback riding at 16 so I think I'm going to pop early.

I'm going to need more clothes very soon. The bump isnt huge like it was before at 6 weeks, so I think maybe its my uterus starting to grow a little bit. I know at 12 weeks it goes right below the belly button and I'm only 2 weeks away from that. Ive taken a belly pic every week, and it seems to be pushing outwards and more rounded each week.

Honey I'm 19 weeks and my bump is not that big at all! In fact people don't know I'm preggo unless I tell them! I'm slim as well so all in all I cannot wait to have a proper bump and for ppl to realise without having to tell them. On an exciting note I can feel my baby move all the time now which is kinda weird seeing as there is hardly any bump! Nature works in mysterious ways :) xxx

I dont get a bump into well into my 2nd trimester, almost 3rd trimester, but everyone is different. And your uterus does not rise above your pelvic rim until about 12 weeks, after that some woman grow more quickly, and if you are on the thinner you will be able to tell you are pregnant.

I'm not skinny, I would say I am average. I can't wait to get past the 12th week. Only 2 more weeks to go.
