baby dance is very scheduled!!

Sorry for the extra post...i just need advice..is anyone else finding that doing the baby dance is very scheduled?? I want a baby so much that it seems that doing the deed has become something we have to do because im fertile...both my hubby and i have very low sex drives so its hard to do it just being in the moment..cuz that moment really never comes!..is anyone else experiencing similar things?? Is this gonna affect my chances negativley of getting preg??

It might affect your chances if you don't actually bd but I don't think 'wanting or not wanting to do it' makes any difference, I know there are lots of times I don't really want to but I just think how much I want another baby and get on with it lol
Also try using OPK's/temping they help pin point when you're ovulating so you aren't having to dtd all cycle

haha yup. for me DH has a very high sex drive and I have a very low one after having my DD. but yes, very scheduled. we're trying to take a relaxed approach to it, but we try for every 2 days, 3 at most lol.

Yes! I know what you mean. Try to set the mood with a nice meal or something so it doesnt feel as scheduled!

I completely understand! My hubby says ttc takes all the fun out of it so I try not to let him know we "need" to bd and just "set the mood" so he doesn't think about it as ttc. We bd about every other day but I try to push it around o time. Lol.

I also don't tell him anything about when we have to dtd-tmi really. he just thinks in in this mood lol. Would totally kill the romance if he knew my cycle and when we must do things.

Thats a good idea not to tell him.. Im a dork I feel the need to over share lol I've told my husband that this week im fertile/ovulating and he just told me that I'm making it into a chore! I was so sad last night we werent able to try cuz we just couldnt get in the mood.. and even though its just one day, and were gonna try today, tomorrow and friday.. im already feeling so negative that because i missed one early fertile day that that must mean im not gonna end up getting preg.. ( I have got to stay more positive!

Ahh yes dtd feels a bit like a chore sometimes. We do it every day from the end of my period until three days after ovulating... So it's a bit tiring.
Recently it hasn't been so bad, my dh has pulled some new moves! Lol maybe he's been watching porn. I don't know, and I don't care haha!

But yes... I don't tell my husband when I'm fertile... He keeps track of it himself. I say that I want a baby more than anyone on this earth, but in reality, I actually think my husband might want one even more than I do.. I didn't think that was possible. So yes. He manages to know my cycle like a weird sex robot Haha.

Maybe go watch some videos, buy some toys, and have fun with it? That's what we have done, after 2 years it was really becoming a chore but we have managed to try and make it fun again.
