baby dropped?

My husband took a picture of me yesterday and we received some very nice comments lol. One of his friends said "your baby has dropped!!!". Does that mean anything?? I thought that if your baby dropped that meant you could go into labour anytime. Do any of you wonderful ladies know if the baby dropping means anything? Much appreciated

And my maternity leave starts at the beginning of December, I can't wait, I'm so exhausted and sore
