Baby Groups

Do any of u take ur LO's to baby groups? Lilys 2 months now & the doc and health visitor told me I need to go to baby groups to help socialise etc.. But im so scared! I dont wanna be sat talking to 30 odd year olds(Im 19 nearly 20) & theres a young mothers group nr me but I dont know wot age group that is and dont wanna be too old for it lol. Im starting baby massage on friday though so hopefully find out some info bout baby groups then!

Me & Summer went to our first baby group today. They just sang songs and stuff while she sat the giggling at them and looking amazed at seeing so many children lol. I did enjoy it though.

Yeeh I am signed up to netmums and had a brief look.. Im thinking bout going to the surestart centres. & Aww, did the other mums talk to u too? x

just go along i went, im 20, and ive actually made good friends with a woman that is 30, with having a baby in common its good grounds to start a friendship, tbh i was scared first time i went so took my sister with me then when i knew what was going on i was fine, now we're hardly ever in the house.

Yeah I go to a couple. One do singing and dancing and is from birth to 5 years so she was one of the youngest there but there were a few crawlers and the toddlers kept bringing her toys . The other is more of a baby group and I'm one of the youngest mums there and everyone is lovely to me. Well there wad one woman who was a bit funny with me maybe cos I'm young but I just didn't really talk to her. I was so nervous the first time I went but it was fun and Evelyn was really interested in the other babbas.

okay so i went its birth - 6 yrs, so alot were like 2-3yrs old its everyday 9am-1am? or 12? but i got there at 10:40ish and by 11 everyone was leaving
so quin played with a little girl for 10 mins it was cute, but we are going back friday but we are going to try to get the earlier bus!

i went to baby massage at the sure start for my first baby group maisie loved it and was fab to speak to other mummys, just started going to a young parents group for under 25's and babies too so seeing how this goes gets me out and helps meet other mummys x x

We had baby massage yesterday was really good, I was the youngest there they was all quite abit older but were lovely! Im gonna go to some post natal group on tuesday which is where u sit around and learn stuff and have a chat with other mummys. I know how u feel alex but its actually not that bad! Just go.. annie will have fun We should start our own baby group lol xx
