It happened to both mine. They both had/have a bald patch on the back of their head and Hannah in particular is losing hair from the sides too. I Alistair's case it grew back in as soon as he could sit up himself because it wasn't rubbing away from 24/7 lying on it.
my lo still has his hair but its alot thinner due to laying on it all the time... I hope he keeps what he has though... but cradle cap is making that unlikely as when the flakes come away so does his beautiful hair!
My LO's hair mostly fell out at 3 months. Cradle cap scales pulled most of it out but the rest just fell out naturally. It grew back fast and she now has just a little less than birth (she was known as the hairy baby in hospital as she had so much). It grows back x
It does. My son was born with dark dark brown hair and alot of it, and lost most of it and now it's came back in with some light brown and some really blonde in his hair.
Well, LO was born with old man hair. You know, the kind of growth on top that you could use for a combover if you were so inclined.
He had much more on the back of his head. He's partially lost (and is still losing!) from the top and back. If you look at his bedsheet, there's a lot of hair on it where his head rests. It's been coming out little by little for weeks.
Fortunately his new hair is starting to grow, but for now he looks like he has a really bad hairdresser.
Nah i think its inevitable tbh. I tried to be really gentle taking the scales off to prevent it...it helped, but the cradle cap stayed put. When i bit the bullet and properly got all the scales off (and came to terms with it pulling her hair out) the cradle cap went away. When it went away new hair all grew back and that doesnt fall out xx
aww lindblum he is cuuute! My girl had loads of dark hair when born. It started thinning at 2 months and she now has a bald spot at the back with short fuzz growing there. It looks weird cos its perfectly circular, like ive shaved it on purpose. (I havent, honest! )
