 yeah my LO just turned 10 months old and has said many bad words!

this morning I was struggling to get his shirt on him and after I finally pulled it over his head he said, "oh fuck!"

He was playing in his exersaucer and was saying, "god damn!"

the other day we were in the courthouse to get my license renewed and he said, "shit!" and yes it was loud and clear :dohh:

he is only 10 months old!!! I never cuss around him either!

He can also say many things clear "dada or daddy, I good, I poop, I love you, dog, Good god, Oh god, Oh god dog, up, out, I go, yeah, hi" this is all I can think of at the moment lol
I just wish he wouldn't cuss, anyone else having this problem with their wee ones?

Don't react to it, he's just testing and repeating words. If you act neutral, he's likely to drop it. Otherwise he'll know it annoys you and start using it as a game/weapon when he gets older. That's what I plan to do, as we have slight potty mouths ourselves. :haha:

sorry but this made me LOL!

I was worrying about this as when I get really tired and grumpy I do have a potty mouth, as well as when I'm driving.....

I'd ignore it at 10mths... He doesn't know what he's saying is bad at the moment.. Make a fuss and he'll learn and use it to get a rise!

But I did soap my son when he was 2 and a half for saying "fuckin eck" and when i said no, he came to my Face and said "fuck-in-eck". He's nearly 9 now and he hasn't sworn since! Naughty mummy...

He also called my nan a prick when he was 1. When she asked him what he meant, he said "someone who makes mummy mad in the car" - she couldn't tell him off for that - she told me off instead!

i have SUCH a bad mouth when i'm driving!!! i finally realized it when i honked at another driver and before i could even say anything, my lo was like OH CHRIST

lol oops!!

I'm glad I'm not the only driver with a potty mouth! It's terrible. I hate to think what his vocabulary is going to be like. I guess I better start cleaning it up or I'm going to find out!

As for your Lo swearing, I agree with another poster - ignore it. Hopefully they'll forget and won't say it again (hopefully!).
