Baby is meauring 8.3 cm at 13 weeks?? dosent make sence..

Ladies I need your help... I had my ultrasound and was told baby is 8.3 cm well everything I have read lately has made me feel like I have a rather large baby or they are again wrong on my dates , I am so confused any ladies that are 13 weeks on here have measurements of bubs want to share? I know they told me my son was going to be a large baby(9lbs+) but he was only 6 lb 13 oz. but they told me this right before he was born at 35 weeks ultrasound (clearly too large to measure) the tech never said anything about this bubs being big but she was kind of snotty too.

If anyone can provide some insight it would be greatly appreciated!!

about 2weeks before i had my son he felt my stomach and said it felt like he was 8lbs already. but he was born at 40w and weighed 7.5lbs.

I had my scan last week and was 12w 6d, baby measured 6.5cms. My scan showed me the same dates as i thought i should be.

I am consistant with CheekyLeeky. I had my last scan at 12w 5d and measured 6.3cms, and they dated me exactly the same as my estimated dates based on LMP and ovulation.

They should all grow pretty consistently at this age so i would say you are further on rather than being a bigger baby. My 13+3 measurement was 7.3cm

i had my scan on weds, they dated me at 13+2 and i cant remember exact measuremeant but it was just over 7cm i think 7.4 or something. they prob have a range? xxx

just had a look at the 3 pics i got from my 13 week scan (avatar is one pic taken at 13 weeks) 1st pic said 11.7cm...2nd pic said 10.1cm...3rd pic said 10.2cm all were taken at the same scan at exactly 13 weeks...it all depends on which way the baby the is lying and in 2 of my pics hes pretty curled up were as the one you can see on my avatar he/she is more flat lying....ive had another scan since then at 15 weeks and my dates are still the same as my dating scan...hope this helps x

you go onto the search bar and select advanced search, by typing my name in, size, and selecting the only thread option you should be able to find it......but ill go see if i can find the link and re post it on here for you now x x

My crl - crown rump length (head to bum measurement) at 13wks was 6.2 cm. Maybe the 8.3cm was the full head to toe measurement???
