Baby Monitors, 2nd hand??

I really want the angelcare sound and movement baby monitor but at £89.99 in the shops I think this is a tad pricey. I'm not sure about buying second hand, what do you all think? Would you buy second hand? There are some going on ebay for between £30-£50 so it would be a massive saving!!
 
Nothing wrong with a few second hand thing's here and there! I'd deff go for it!!
I got baby a boppy off ebay (hardly used as it was a spare?!!) and saved half the RRP!! Also got a faye and lou brestfeeding butterfly (also hardly used) and saved a tenner!
I wouldn't get everything second hand dont get me wrong, but some stuff is good for the pennies! :thumbup:
 
I got a monitor for about a tenner at a boot sale and it's been no trouble at all. I also got the Babysense II breathing/movement monitor for about £25 on ebay which I used with the regular monitor.
 
When it comes to preowned things I'm normally I no but if its electronics or clothes that are in good con and can be washed I don't see an issue.

Just make sure you pay with paypal and you get it from a seller with some rep!
 
Thanks girls think I will see if I can get lucky and grab a bargain :)
 
We got out monitor 2nd hand and it's packed away ready for use with this one when the time comes! :thumbup: Cost me £9 off ebay and it's brilliant!
