Baby names - have you started thinking about them?

Yes we are thinking about it- lol! Already! We had some names we liked picked out before we conceived because we started talking about starting our family a couple of years ago well before we even started TTC.

My partner is Japanese and we will live there (but in Brisbane, Australia for another 6 weeks) so we are trying to stay away from names that have too many L`s or R`s as Japanese people struggle with pronunciation (my name has both...Laura....and most people can not say it...I get Raula a lot)

Boys names
Kai
Elijah (I love it, but we might struggle over the L, and getting kanji for it)
Noah
Shion
Jeidan
Bailey (would be Beiri in Japanese, but I could live with that)

Girls

Mia (or Miya)
Aiyana
Kohana
Misaki


We like the middle names Grace for a girl.

I think the boys middle name would be James as it is a family name and the name of our very close friend.

We are definitely undecided on final names.

Noah is a lovely name too, very masculine. My dh doesn't like it though

Mia is a lovely wee girls name too.

My brother, dad and friend are all called Austin so I am def staying away from that name, despite my brother's protests!

Said friend, Austin, has a 2 year old they called Zane. The most perfect name for a kid, especially this little bundle of energy!

Oh wow, Zane is such a great name, we also like Ernie now aswell. Want something slightly quirky!!

Eve, Ava, Aiden, Mia are all really pretty and popular names here right now. Definitely not old lady names.
