Baby proofing the garden

Our garden has a patio area then a wall up to the grass. I have no idea how I am supposed to baby proof it, I can cover the stairs with a fire guard, but I don't know what to do about the wall. I can't put lo on the grass either in case she falls back to the patio !

We wanted to have a BBQ for her birthday, but I don't know how we could manage lots of babies in the garden!

An ideas?

could you corner off part of the garden... you know like a big play pen? Or like a rabbit run? haha You could put it on the grass and fill it with toys?

hmmm could you get some cheap fencing/that wire type stuff? (not sure what it's called) to prevent any falls off the wall bit
