baby puts pressure while peeing

Hi,
I have a 7.5 months baby girl. She is making some strange noise while passing urine. Also, she puts pressure to pass urine (as if she is passing motion). I mean, she passes bit urine, then she puts pressure to pass more and then again she puts pressure to empty the bladder. She has becone quite fussy, otherwise she is oe happy kid. The area around the vagina is bit red. I applied desitine cream and some coconut oil. She does not let me touch that part and cries if i touch.

Her urine routine came out normal. I am still worried. Her symptoms continues. Is urine routine alone enough to rule out any kidney/bladder/UTI problems?
Is anything I need to be concerned?

I am feeding her lot of water.

I would say to go back to your doctors and suggest a blood test. (not very nice i know) but they would be able to rule out numerous problems and find the cause. Sorry i'm not much help.

I would agree with the above poster, take your LO to the doctor. That sounds unusual and seems as though something is definitely bothering her, maybe a little infection or something. Hope she feels better soon xo

The urine test will look for urea, creatinine, white cells, red cells, protein and sugar, all of which a routine blood test would result in. If the test was negative it is unlikely there is a raving infection. But you can get a blood test for CRP and ESR to look for infection. I would suggest getting the doc to do this.

TBH, it sounds like one of two things. Firstly, that she is trying to pass poop and this is causing leakage.

Secondly, that she has a mechanical problem with the bladder sphincter or the pelvic floor muscles. All of which can be sorted
