Reins aren't to teach them to walk, they're to stop them running away when they can walk.

and the handle on the top of the rucksack is designed to take the child's bodyweight and help to assist while they're learing to walk, skate, ride a bike without stabilisers etc

They're fab and I have two sets of them (I won them in a competition woo hoo)

My child's safety does come first, thank you very much.

i didnt say you didnt put your childs safety first! you clearly said she holds your hand and doesnt run off so why on earth would i need to imply anything like that? all i was saying that if summer runs off when she is older then i will use them even if they do look horrible?
