Baby Shower

Hi ladies, is anyone having a baby shower and does anyone have an good ideas and fun games?

I'm hoping someone will throw me a shower, but nothing planned as of yet. I recently attended a shower for a friend and the host provided loads of plain onesies, fabric paints, decals, etc. Everyone decorated the the onesies. Most were very funny, some had personal messages, all were cute and it provided loads of entertainment. Even the men who showed up at the end stayed and decorated a few. I don't know how many the mom actually ended up using, but we all had fa great time.

Another friend had a diaper raffle. The had a mani/pedi certificate and a bottle of booze and everyone who brought a package of diapers was entered in the raffle. I didn't make it to that shower, but I know she got a lot of diapers.

I'm not having a baby shower this time around but my sis threw my shower when I was preggers with DS. One game was a baby bottle race where you'd put some type of beverage in a baby bottle and see who could drink it out of the bottle the fastest. Another was guess the poo where she took candy bars, put them in baby diapers, put the diapers in the microwave until the candy bars melted (so it looked like poo in the diaper) and the guests had to guess what type of candy bar it was. You can also do guess the baby food where you get jars of baby food, remove the labels and people can try to guess what baby food it is. She also did a baby trivia game...I don't remember what the questions were, though.

I've been told i have 2 being planned for me (one for friends, one for family). But i'm giving a lot of ideas to my mum who is sorting it all because i hate surprises, and i hate not being in control of things!
