Baby won't stop kicking me!!!!

Morning (I think)!

I've been up all night as my baby has decided after watching Match of the Day last night it would be a great idea to renact it. All night.

I'm absolutely shaaatttered and she's kicking SO hard, in what can only be described as my lady area so no chance of sleeping through it!

Sounds ridiculous, anyone got any tips on STOPPING a baby from kicking? :/ lol! I'm turning more and more into a tired grouch by the minute!

movement usually settles my littlun down - although not helpful when you're trying to sleep yourself, theory is it rocks them to sleep - try going for a wander around the house, I'm the same at the moment awake for hours and hours in the middle of the night.
Other tip would be distraction - so I get my hubby to rub my feet or head when I can't sleep - don't notice the kicks so much!!

I don't get many nice kicks from my little man. He almost always kicks me in the lady parts! I get up and walk around. Can't complain tho. At least he's healthy in there

Thank you! I'll do the washing, that may encourage her to chill out hopefully. Wonder where she gets her energy, wish she'd share it!

Mmm foot massage, haven't had one in months! OH at work so no chance, got kitty cuddles instead though!

Ha, hubby goes to work abroad in 2 days - so my 3am foot massages will be over as well! My house will suddenly become very clean!

i feel ur pain! i was up for hours last night as baby kicked and punched hell outta me - she also uses my bladder as a bouncy castle, i was up every 5 mins for the tiniest of wees! she is so active, as much as i love it, it can defo get annoying. no advice here sorry just an empathic ear and hugs xx

Thanks both!! Yes the bouncy bladder of doom.. its annoying as it feels like I'm desperate for a pee, get to the loo, nope, sod all!!

I do love feeling my bub don't get me wrong, and I'm happy that she's happy in there whatever the hell she's doing! Just wish she had more consideration ahh if only eh!! xxx

I have exactly the same problem-you would think that because we are having girls they would be a bit more considerate of our lady parts-nope!
I agree that if im active it rocks baby to sleep,also if i have sex she seems to chill out,the couple of minutes of activity seems to settle her down

I have the smae lol, but its worse when my OH is around me, or im txin or on the phone to him, she just seems to go nuts, kicks me, rolls around. I think its quite cute and annoying that she react to my OH like this But at night when he working night she kicks me as if to say... well where is he then?
As if shes being a bit over excited my OH rubs my bells and she really does calm it down, hes there talking to my belly telling her to be nice to mammy today and try not to kick her too much lol

It's not fun when they make you wince is it - have you tried getting down on all 4s but using your elbows instead of hands to lean on so you're lower down at the front then sway your hips a bit - this usually makes baby move and I can get comfortable enough to get to sleep.
