Baby's first Christmas gifts

I would like to buy my LO a few special presents to mark her first Christmas, such as a personalised stocking and a bauble for the tree. Has anyone else bought items like this and, if so, where from?

Do you have any other ideas for presents I could get for her? She will be 6 months

I think I will definately get a bauble, as OH bought 'me' one last christmas which said 'bumps first christmas' I think we have set a trend here!!

When she is old enough I will allow her to choose 1 tree decoration each year so we have a collection of her own decorations, she can have them as a keepsake for when she is older.

I think my days of having a lovely co-ordinated red and gold decorated tree have gone, I can just imagine the wonderful and wacky decorations she might choose!

were going to get Austin a silver bangle, like the ones you get for Christening but we will have it engraved with something christmas related xx

We were planning a version of this as well. DS was born 19 Dec so he had a 'Baby's First Christmas' ornament and from there we planned to get him his own ornament every year for the tree. Then when he's old enough and moves out he will have a minimum of 18 ornaments of his own that have started his collection (if he wants them).

Funny enough I just said in the other Christmas thread that I've bought Harrison a personalised stocking and bauble to mark his first Christmas. I googled 'baby's first christmas' and a lot came up!

My dad makes an ornament out of wood every Christmas that you can insert a picture of the baby into. So, for baby's first, second, etc Christmas. It will have the year and a picture of him in it from that time.
