baby's hip displasia

Hi,

My first born had hip displasia- does anyone know if it's likely i'll have another one with this as well? I've read various things, some say it could happen again, some say it's very unlikely.

Hi, I really have no idea how to answer your question except to say this.

I was a first born & I had hip displasia, but neither my brother nor my sister did. So...there's at least one case where it didn't occur again.
