bad cough

I have developed this bad cough and stuffy nose over the last week. My dr said to leave it alone, but I'm scared that it's some type of infection that will hurt the baby. Does anybody else have this?? Is this just related to the pregnancy??

I don't know but I am experiencing the same thing. Lots of sinus pressure, stuffiness, and coughing. Also started feeling very run down yesterday the way I would with a cold. I can't tell if I'm sick or not, though, because it could just be pregnancy related. I had my baby shower this weekend, also, which was very draining and tiring for me. So that could be it too.

Sorry I don't have an answer but I'm interested to hear if anyone else does.

You've probably got a cold. I have a really sore throat that I thought had gone.. but it's come back Hurts like hell but I don't know what I can take to make it feel better. I don't like taking medicine whilst pregnant.. I think I'll go get a lemon & some honey and have hot drinks all night! Ughh, I've had about 4 colds since I've been pregnant! Never got them before!!

Ive had cold like symptoms for over a week now.. I find nearly weeing myself after every cough/sneeze more annoying than the cold itself! I guess with colds you just have to ride it out.. However if you feel something isnt right - get it checked I didnt feel right at 20 weeks pregnant with cold symproms and turned out to be an infection of tge throat/lungs and got some antibiotics
