bad cramping and spotting :(

hello im four weeks pregnant and ive had some spotting and bad cramping its that uncomfortable when they come ive had to take some paracetamol x is this normal ?????

Hi, i would contact your GP tomorrow and maybe ask for HCG levels to be done just to chack everything is ok x

It can be as spotting can be implantation bleeding and cramping in early pregnancy is quite usual however if the bleeding increases it's best to get checked over babes x

there could be many reasons for the spotting and the cramps...contact your doctor as soon as you can maybe they can do bloods etc to know what is happening. i know if you have cysts it can cause cramping and spotting (is your cramping more on one side than the other?? or all around your back, tummy and upper legs??) have a check with GP thats the best way to be sure of anything, good luck x x

called the doctors got a early scan tommrow morning im bleding now like a period and every twenty minutes or so i get a bad cramp that lasts about a minute cant stop crying i feel ive lost it

Sarah, If you read the Spring thread in PAL section, you will see amny of us have had problems and all has been ok so far.

All I can say is try and rest as much as possible until the scan tomorrow and I really hope all turns out ok.

Sarah dont panic !

In all honesty from what you described to me it does not sound like a miscarriage - alot of the girls on here have had pregnancy bleeds early on.
Dont worry and ring me and mum after the scan xxx
