bad mummy :( feel awful

My lo has had bad nappy rash for a while now which looked like it was clearing up but she had her 7-9 month developmental checks today so I asked if there was anything else I could put on it and it turns out its thrush, I feel awful not getting it checked sooner, my poor girl

How would you know it wasn't a diaper rash. I would assume the same thing! I'm sure my doctor would be the one to tell me otherwise too. I would feel bad too. Don't beat yourself up, this is why our LOs go to the doctor.

The thrush probably only developed recently. My son had it once, it was because his rash didn't go away (stomach virus). Once it started, it was unmistakeable because it went down his thighs. I know you feel bed, but I doubt it's been going on for that long.

Aww don't feel bad! No-one else looks at your babies bum and if you've never seen it before how would you know??! I know I wouldn't. Get well soon to your LO's bum! x

Ah I know its one of those things, just glad it was her check up today as I would have gone on thinkingot was just a nappy rash as she is teething too
