Went to my mums today as i didnt wanna sit in and shes a childminder so Finn loves all the attention off the older kids

Well i went to give his dinner, moved the tray out on the high chair, sat him in it and he leapt forward and the tray just fell off and he went with it right into a pile of paint tins that had just been brought in

Such a blood curdling scream and he of course landed straight on his face and hes all mashed up n cut n bruised took hours to calm him down and i was petrified he'd done something more serious but he was wriggling around enough to let me know that his back was okay, just his poor lil face, i dread to see what it will ook like in the morning when all the bruising comes out! i'm not positive hes not broke his nose or something

he tried to give me cuddles before but it hurt him so much when his face touched mine and we had screams all over again

bit of calpol before bed and if he's still in pain tomorrow might be worth a visit to gp/a&e for your peace of mind just incase he's damaged his jaw or nose - I bet he's fine though. Xxxx

i calpoled him up and put him to bed, he whined a bit which is unusual but hes gone off now, hopefully it doesnt look as bad as i'm expecting in the morning!

I know accidents happen, i'm just glad it was me and no one else, cos there would of been hell to pay!!!

Awww angel ive done allsorts accidnently i banged his head on the tv monitor in hosp at 2 days old... felt like a failure from the start!!! i cut his little nail too short and it bled... these things happen and you cannot stop them darl please dont be upset xxxx

he's literally healed overnight, crazy how they fix isnt it? he has 2 little black eyes and a dodgy looking nose and cut chin but the swelling is pretty much all gone down x

aw hun, im glad he dont look so bad today, amazing how babies heal isnt it

i bet his bruises etc will be gone in a few days
