Hi all..

Well what started as a normal day has ended the worst day ever....I went up for a lie down at 16:30, at 16:45 i felt a gush ....Bright red blood like a tap running, non stop flooded my bed, my bathroom.....Never seen anything like it....then the clots came..NO pain at all....just lots and lots of blood....We went to a&e checked me over, my cervix is closed so they say miscarriage has happened....They are making me wait til monday for scan to check all is gone...Im in shock and devastated beyond words...........:nope:

So sorry to hear about your loss. I really dont know what else to say...but keep strong.

I have a 18month old daughter.....i am so shocked....im in no pain but i cannot even describe the blood loss....hard to take in...

So so sorry to hear your sad news hun, please take it easy and look after yourself .. Thinking of you xxx

Hi, I dont want to give you any false hope in any way but, you say there was no pain, my friends sister (and Ive read of a few others on here) had large gushes of blood and things turned out ok. Like Insaid I would hate to get your hopes up, you say a lot of blood how much? And clots big/small? Got my fingers crossed for you x

I'm so sorry :(

I agree with Claire, though - are they sure you miscarried? Your experience sounds nothing like my miscarriage (I know everyone is different; however when I miscarried at 10 1/2 weeks, I had quite a lot of pain); it sounds more like a big bright red bleed I had during my current pregnancy - and I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and baby seems fine (my bleed was at 6 weeks). My sister in law had the same during her first pregnancy - MAJOR bleed in first trimester - and baby is now a 12 year old girl.

I'm so sorry you're going through this :hugs:

Same thing happened to my step mom. So sorry for your loss. Hugs to you and your family

I had a mc at almost 12 weeks and it was the most painful experience

I'll will keeep out in my prayers xx

I don't know what to say except I'm so sorry you're going through this scary time. Hoping for the best. <3

Omg!! I just found out monday after 6 months of trying that i was indeed preggers. I dont know what i would do with that news.

All i can say is i am deeply sorry for your loss, and keep strong and keep trying!

Sorry you're going through this, I hope it turns out ok :flower:

I had red blood and clots with cramps at 10w6d, went to ER, had a scan and everything was just fine. Had another scan a week later and everything is still great. I didn't have the blood loss you did but still. I wouldn't think your cervix would be closed directly after a miscarriage.

Also, I'd be demanding better care. That kind of blood loss can be very dangerous. I'd be demanding a scan and blood work at the very least! Seriously, please don't hesitate to just go. This is your health and peace of mind.

I hope everything is okay and the blood was a fluke. I would think a loss at 10 weeks would cause quite a lot of pain because baby and placenta have to detach.

I'm so sorry, hoping these ladies are right though and that maybe it is better news than you expect x x
