So here i am again... Had all my bloods taken, scans etc on tuesday, Only to be told i have polycystic ovaries!! And may not be able to have children... Seriously i'm heart broken, 3 years ttc and i've waisted my time ttc lol.. It seems to be always me in my family. Anyone else feel the same way!!

Never say never, it can still happen, it will just be harder than those without it.
I have it as well, currently only on one side, low BMI, and getting assistance with ttc.

See a fertility specialist as they can bypass some methods so you can have help tcc.

I'm already seeing a fertility specialist.. But thanks for the advice hun x

PCOS does not automatically mean you cannot get pregnant, I know so many women with PCOS who have children, me included! There are lot of things that can help, I haven't got time now to write it all down, but if you need advice then please join the following PCOS group, there are some great girls on there who can really help you.

yes i know that, but i got told i wouldn't be able to concieve naturally. I know i write my posts awkwadly lol. sorry

Is your fertility provider private or public? I have found the public system very slow, slack and uncaring. Sadly the private system costs more than many of us would like to know.

In some cases once you can apply a label to the problem they seem to take a back seat even more :( All we want is a child, something that others try so little for, and do not appreciate when they have it. :\

Great friend of mine has Pcos as well, a lot of it, she just had a baby after 3.5 yrs of trying. So yes, you can fall pregnant naturally but assistance can help. Ivf may be required. They seem to want 5 yrs of trying before that happens though :\

Im private, costs alot more but I'm actually getting help :)... thanks for all the advice, I'm actually glad iv'e gone all this way to get answers from doctors, nurses, obgyn. x

I know the feeling, if anything ever happens to anyone in my family....it's to me. I'm sorry to hear that though ): I know that's frustrating. If you need someone to vent to I'm all ears

My friend has pcos and was told she'd never have kids. She and her partner were looking in to adopting when they decided to ttc anyway. They fell pregnant and had their baby girl today.

Take what the medical professionals say with a pinch of salt. Stay positive and hang in there!

Edited to add they had their baby totally naturally!

Good luck!

No problem at all. I know all about frustration and just wanting someone to be a listening board lol
