Bad night .... Ended up in delivery suite

So from about 12 noon yesterday I was getting really bad pressure in my bum and fanny and really bad twinges across my lower belly and was going hard on my right side , I could hardly move i was closes to sobbing like a baby , anyway my OH came home from work and made me phone the assisment unit where they told me to go to the delivery suite , when I arrived they hooked me up on a monitor took all my obs and a urine sample , the doctor came to see me and had a poke a prod where I screamed in so much pain , she took a sample from my cervix/uterus to see if I was going into pre term
Labour , and a few swaps I honestly thought she was going to rip me apart . After a few hours of waiting and my OH fussing after me we got the results , there Was no trace of PTL but I've got such a bad infection it's spread round my uterus , but baby is fine they said I must of had it for weeks but found it strange and no trace at all was found in my urine , I've been given co codamol and antibiotics , I really thought my little man was coming , thank god he's baking for abit longer , the MW also commented on how he feels bigger than my gestational time , I wonder if I got a little fatty here ! X

That's awful, but I'm glad that they found the infection. I hope you feel better soon. It's great that your LO is staying put! Take care and stay resting. I'm always exhausted after being in the hospital.

Glad you went in and they caught the infection! In fact these can lead to preterm labor so it's good that you and LO are safe now!!
