Bad Stomach Bug

I have really bad sickness and upset tummy and can't keep anything down/in, should I be worried about the baby? Don't know whether to see a doctor or if they will just tell me there is nothing thy can do.

My bestie had horrible sickness throughout her entire pregnancy (bad MS), and the baby was just fine. The real concern is YOU! If you have concerns, it can't hurt to call the doctor and ask if they would need to see you... depending on how long it all lasts...

Really, your body is going to take care of the baby first... but I'm sure feeling sick is NO FUN!!!

You should call your doctor if this illness is lasting more than a couple of days. A stomach bug is one thing, but if it is an all out flu bug or something more lasting, you could be dehydrating yourself. Always best to be safe and let the doctor know!

My book says a stomach bug does not harm your baby but if it lasts longer than 2-3 days to see your dr in case you become dehydrated!
