balding men and pony tails

I was out and around town to day in the sun and was sitting out side a cafe watching the world go by and I noticed a lot of balding men with pony tails ..... I m I the only person that thinks it looks ridiculous !!! ... WHY ?????? are they tring to hold onto whats left as long as poss !! lol
