Hi ladies,

Ive been looking into reusable nappies,(there are sooo many out there!) Im swaying towards the terry towels, so after deciding this I have now discovered there are two types of terry towels, cotton or bamboo!! Or do I get cotton terry towels with a bamboo booster?!

Which one would you recommend?

Thanks ladies :)

Bamboo is a bit more absorbent than cotton, though bamboo does require a few more washes than cotton to achieve a better absorbency.

I generally find that bamboo seems to dry faster than cotton as well.

Bamboo every time. It's more absorbent, stays softer, and dries just as quickly when it's only a single layer. It's also a much more environmentally friendly crop to grow, and has some anti-bacterial properties as well

I prefer bamboo terries because they are more absorbent, less bulky and stay softer. They do take slightly longer to dry and also shouldn't be dried directly on a radiator.
