basal body temp...??? durring pregnancy...

when should i check my body temp, for pregnancy?? in the morning or any time of the day??? i have never really used a thermometor... im new to this... also what would the body temp be when very early in pregnancy? thanks in advance... xo

You're supposed to take your temp first thing in the morning -even before you get up! And the temp can vary - if its I believe between 1-2 degrees fahrenheit or 0.5-1 degree celcius higher than your average, and doesnt drop again, you're likely pregnant. It will rise with ovulation and drop again before your period. My usual temp is around 35.8 c and when I was pregnant it was only 37.00, but thats very low. Most womens post ovulation temp will take them up above 37 degrees
