BD pain during ovulation?

Has anyone experienced pain during BD when ovulating? It hurt when he hit my cervix. I think I ovulated real late (CD39 or so) and I'm trying to figure out if BD was timed right. Since I was waiting for AF I didn't consider it might be ovulation at the time

I had this on cycles when I was on clomid so I was super ovulating. should go away over the next few days.

Yes I had this my first round of Clomid. It actually felt painful for at least a week up to ovulation, but the day before and day of ovulation was really painful. It felt like everything was swollen up, and I've heard this is because the ovaries are enlarged and things get bumped into and kinda reverberate throughout the region and cause pain.
It makes TTC sex difficult, but at least it means things are working down there right?
