bd question

I'm just starting to get my positive opk now at 2:30 pm and my dh is on his 24 hour shift and won't be home until early morning. My question is would I still have a good chance if we bd right when he gets home?its CD 18 for me and we didn't end up bding last night because we were tired but we did the day before on CD 16

We were hoping to take a break from TTC while we planned our wedding but decided on one last go.

yes you should have a good chance, you dont ovulate until after a positive opk, usually 12-36 hours later! so you are in with a great chance!

It's actually best to do it before you even get a positive, so your chances are already good.

Well 2 hours later at 4:30 it was neg, so I guess that wasn't my surge. . . even though I swear it was positive. I tested yesterday and it was neg so I know there's no way I could've missed it
